Celebrate Pancake Day by making these yummy (vegan) pancakes featuring our very own chocolate flakes! Explore the recipe and start baking today.

Pancake day is here, which means that it's time to treat yourself to the most delicious pancakes. You may already have perfected your own pancake recipe, but why not try something a bit different? Explore our recipe to learn how to make delightful pancakes using our chocolate.
400ml Plant-based Milk
270g Self-raising Flour
30g Cocoa Powder
40g Dark Chocolate Couverture
1 tsp Baking Powder
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil for Cooking
Add the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to a bowl.
Break up the couverture into roughly broken pieces. Add these to the bowl.
Mix the ingredients in the bowl well and slowly pour in the milk until you get a smooth and thick batter.
Heat a bit of oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium to low heat.
Add 2 tbsp of pancake batter to the pan to achieve perfectly round pancakes. Depending on the size of your pan, you can do this in batches of 2-3 at a time.
Cook the pancakes for 3-4 minutes until bubbles appear on the surface.
Flip the pancakes and cook them for another 2-3 minutes until they are golden on both sides and cooked through.
Keep them warm in the oven on a low heat whilst you’re cooking the other pancakes.
